Large bronze and marble sculpture from the second half of the 19th century. Work depicting the Goddess Athena in armor and signed by the great Italian sculptor Aristide Petrilli (1868-1907), without authentication. Statue with the head sculpted in white marble and a spectacular armor in chiseled bronze of great quality. We find on it and on the helmet the iconographic symbols of the Goddess such as Medusa and other references to the world of mythology such as Mercury with the caduceus. Work of difficult to find and of great impact, in a beautiful patina. It shows some signs of aging, overall in excellent state of conservation.
